* There are 50 scoring EVENTS in each dual meet

* Each EVENT consists of "live" and "exhibition" heats

* The "live" heat is the first heat for each EVENT

* The swimmers in the "live" heat score points for their team

* Individual events are worth 9 points

* 1st thru 3rd place score points in Individual Events

* Relay events are worth 7 points

* The 1st place relay team earns all 7 points

* There is a total of 430 points to be earned across all EVENTS

* THE FIRST TEAM TO EARN 215 POINTS WINS THE SWIM MEET *
