2026 Season · Every Family, Every Meet
Why We Volunteer
Summer swim meets are only possible when every volunteer position is filled. Each family is required to volunteer for at least one job at each swim meet they have a swimmer participating in — home, away, invitational, and championship meets. We are a small team and need the help of every member. We thank you in advance!
Required for All Families
At least 1 volunteer job per meet, per family — including home, away, invitational & championship meets. Sign up early for best selection!

Lane Timer

Use a stopwatch to record swimmer finish times at the end of each lane. One of the most critical roles at every meet.
Head Timer
Tap to learn more
Is a back up timer for the lane timers in case they miss a start or have a malfunction.
Finish Judge
Tap to learn more
Observe finish order and record 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers for each heat at the end of the lanes.
Stroke & Turn Judge

Makes sure that the swimmers are swimming within the rules.
Runner

Collects time sheets from the timers after each event and takes them to the scoring table.
Score Keeper

Tally points for each event and maintain the running score. Works closely with the Head Score Keeper.
Ribbon Writer

Write swimmer names, events, and times on award ribbons throughout the meet. Great for detail-oriented helpers!
Ribbon Runner

Deliver completed ribbons to swimmers after each event. Keeps energy high and makes swimmers feel celebrated!
Bake Sale

Bake or donate items and help run the bake sale table. A fun fundraiser that fuels the team spirit!
Announcer

Call events and swimmers to the blocks using the PA system. Keeps the meet moving and the crowd engaged!
